A crowd of more than 100 enthusiastic readers was charmed by award-winning Austin author Sherry Thomas’ presentation on February 13th. In her talk, she focused on her Lady Sherlock historical mystery series, set in Victorian England, but she also writes young adult fantasy, historical romance, science fiction, and contemporary romance.
Thomas is the first of three authors to appear at these Friends’ fundraising events held throughout the year. There are two more author experiences scheduled for this year:
- On May 22nd, Lynda Rutledge discusses her latest novel, Mockingbird Summer. Tickets go on sale April 29th on this website.
- On November 12th, Jeff Abbott discusses his most recent book in his Sam Capra series, Traitor’s Dance. The date that tickets go on sale will be announced at a later date.
