His non-fiction work\, Big Wonderful Thing\, a sweeping narrative of Texas from prehistory to the present\, was published in 2019 by the University of Texas Press.  \nThe event takes place Thursday\, February 9 at 2 p.m. in the Friends Room at the Georgetown Public Library. \nDoors open at 1:30.
