DESCRIPTION:You’re not going to want to miss our next Hill Country Authors Series (HCAS) speaker.  We are proud to host acclaimed Pulitzer-prize winner Lawrence Wright\, discussing his latest novel\, Mr. Texas\, a hilarious\, sharply drawn send-up of Texas politics. In the novel\, a dark-horse candidate risks his personal happiness for a career in the Texas House of Representatives. Wright will give a 20-30 minute presentation\, followed by a 15-20 minute question-and-answer session.Date:  Thursday\, November 14thTime: 2:00 PM; doors open at 1:30 PMLocation: Georgetown Public Library\, upstairs in the Friends/Hewlett rooms.Refreshments: Included in the admission price and will be served by Sweet Lemon Kitchen. Book-signing: Lark & Owl Booksellers will be on hand to sell copies of Mr. Texas\, which Wright will be happy to sign.Admission: $17 online (Note: tickets are no longer sold at Second-Hand Prose) October 22nd – November 12th; $20 at the door\, on a space available basis.
